Although Luxembourg is one of the safest country in Europe however there is some minor cases which are mostly the petty. The biggest threat of crime in Luxembourg is petty, but keep your eyes open, especially in transportation hubs. The area around the Gare neighborhood is also described by some tourists as the shadiest part of Luxembourg City. Conclusively we can relate the safety with the data that there are around 1,300 police force and just two jails in Luxembourg.

Budgeting Plan

Transportation - Previously, there was a 2€/4€ for 2hours/Day time span. However, since 1st March 2020, public transport in Luxembourg is free throughout the country and for all modes of transport - trams, trains and buses. The scheme applies to residents, cross-border commuters and tourists alike. So, you just need a google map and just get on when and where you like and enjoy your visit to Luxembourg

Accommodation - It is expensive to live a night in Luxembourg. That’s the reason more than 50% people commute daily to near-by countries. • Avoid Gare area in night as it reported some petty cases there.
• Beware while getting on the trains/buses and keep an eye on your valuables.
